The world’s longest-running play is showing no signs of slowing down. Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, is coming to Australia in celebration of it’s Platinum jubilee this October.
One of Christie’s most beloved murder mysteries, The Mousetrap has kept audiences captivated since it first opened in 1952. Directed by the illustrious Robyn Nevin and produced by John Frost for Crossroads Live Australia, be part of theatre history right here at home when this iconic play comes to town.

The story is set in Monkswell Manor, owned by a couple, Mollie and Giles Ralston. Five strangers along with the owners find themselves stranded in the hotel during a blizzard. A police detective soon arrives on the scene, announcing that a murderer is at large and could be making his way to the hotel. When one of the guests is murdered, it becomes clear that the killer is already among them, leading to a closer look into everyone’s lives.
With a delicious twist ending and a masterful narrative, Christie’s wonderfully puzzling play remains as fresh and exciting as ever.
