The seaside neighbourhood of Brighton is a mere 30-minute drive south of Adelaide city centre and offers stunning oceanic views and a plethora of eateries and boutique shops along its main drag, Jetty Road.
And come Saturday 1 April, the already popular precinct will be certifiably bopping with the return of the Brighton Street Party.
The day is set to see local hospitality and retail spill out onto the street along with live music, kids’ activities, roving circus performers, and entertainment aplenty under what will hopefully be the sunshine.
Feast your ears on live music from Satin Sun at 2pm, followed by Juan Munoz Duo who will take the vibes to a whole new level from 8pm. All while the roving entertainment zip around between 4pm and 6pm.
A wee scavenger hunt is also on the cards to keep the youngins occupied, but not without festival favourites like the ol’ faithful face painting stations.
If you’re just passing by or only one segment of the Brighton Street Party is catching your eye, then just roll on through – it’s a free for all.
See, just because Mad March is over, doesn’t mean the fun has to as well – local scale is just as important as the international festival magnitude.
The Brighton Street Party will be in full swing from 1:00pm through to 9:00pm on Saturday 1 April 2023. But you can still head down from 9:30am to enjoy the existing traders’ market stalls along Jetty Road.
