It’s without question that burgers and beer go hand in hand. But sometimes, it’s hard to find a burger that really ticks all the boxes: soft bun that melts in your mouth, delicious fillings, and of course the right amount of sauce without drowning in it and the whole burger falling apart.
Back by popular demand, Burgerlicious Festival is rolling back into Morphettville Racecourse. For three massive days from Friday, April 8 – Sunday, April 10, you can expect to find some of the best South Australian burger legends, as well as plenty of beats and beers to pair.
Some burger joints joining the lineup include Gang Gang, Burgertec, Nugg Lyf and Rik’s Grill, slinging their juicy buns filled with all your favourite flavours.
You can wash down your burgers with a selection of local beers from Brewboys, as well wines from Forage Supply Co, and gins and cocktails from Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers.
But it doesn’t end with the food and drink. You’ll be able to catch DJ sets from Richard Kirby and The Young & The Restless if you head to the festival on Friday night. Or, if you’re planning on a Saturday session, Croydon Park Record Club will be spinning vinyls all day long.
If you want to take the little ones, we recommend going on Sunday, as there will be kids’ entertainment in a more relaxed setting.
Entry to Burgerlicious Festival is free. Registration is, however, essential for entry on Saturday.
