Dearest Reader,
Since the first season of Bridgerton debuted in 2020, it has won over swooning hearts worldwide. From the scandal to the fashion and architecture, there’s a lot to love about this period drama set in the world of Regency London. Moreover, viewers have fallen for the one-of-a-kind classical takes on contemporary music playing at every elegant ball and some seriously steamy scenes. And now, fans can hear familiar songs performed by a skilled string quartet at a Candlelight x Bridgerton concert in Adelaide.
If I were you, I wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for the waitlist as you’ll get exclusive presale access to tickets, up to 24 hours before they go on sale on November 14. Taking place at the Capri Theatre, attendees will find themselves re-immersed in an accessible blend of traditional music and modern hits. Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” is just one out of a thrilling setlist of songs designed to transport audiences back to their favourite on-screen moments.
The Best of Bridgerton on Strings
I am delighted to unveil the event of the season and everything that comes with it.
Not only are talented musicians reworking songs by Billie Eilish, Robyn, Miley Cyrus, and more, but they are doing so in the glow of thousands of flickering candles. And what better way to travel to a romantic era defined by elegance than surrounded by the light of countless candles after all? When “Bad Guy” meets the ensemble’s strings, the rich sound is enough to remind you of Simon’s envy, and “Wrecking Ball” calls to mind Kate and Anthony’s turbulent relationship.
Feel like a member of Mayfair’s ton while listening to the unforgettable classical twists performed in Shondaland’s series. Close your eyes and pretend to be a respected viscount or debutante on the cusp of hosting your own calling hour. Delivered by a string quartet, this concert is the perfect tribute to Bridgerton.
I believe even Her Majesty couldn’t deny Candlelight x Bridgerton a nod of approval. Prepare for an evening of heightened emotions and a musical journey inside the Capri Theatre that you’ll not soon forget.
Unsurprisingly, I see no point in guarding secrets; spread the word far and wide: the Candlelight concert series presents the Best of Bridgerton on Strings.
Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown
