When it comes to legendary DJs still on the decks today, Carl Cox is on the list. So too is his mate and founder of BUSH Records Eric Powell. And together they’re going to be tearing up the Glenelg Beach Foreshore with Carl Cox and Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco and a massive eight-hour, back-to-back set.
An eight-hour set is no easy feat, but between the two they’re going to be digging deep into their record collections and pulling out the soul, the funk, disco and house tracks that will have you bumping, cutting shapes and throwing your hands in the air because music is the answer.
Expect to hear some classics, some favourites and it wouldn’t be a Carl Cox and Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco without a few rare gems. That’s without a doubt since they’ve got hundreds of thousands of records between them dating back from the 60s. And with decades of experience each, they know how to please the crowd.
The festival is bound to be a wild day out with beach views, 2500 capacity and plenty of food vendors to keep you fuelled and a number of bars for you to get your drink on responsibly before returning to the open-air dancefloor and kicking it with your crew. The sound system is world-class, the lighting will be phenomenal and the production will not leave anything out.
The party starts at 2pm and will continue long into the evening for a truly sensational day out dancing on Sunday 23 January.
The biggest beach party of the year is brought to us by Fat Controller, Hardware, The Front Room, AESA, and Wine & Good times.
Start thinking ’bout your festival outfits or limber up for a day of dancing.
