Last year, Disney Cruise Line announced their inaugural cruises around Australia and New Zealand. Ready to launch in October this year, these trips will enchant travellers with sailings from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland on board the Disney Wonder. And, thanks to the massive response from Disney fans, the cruise line has announced a new season of Australian and New Zealand cruises. If you missed out, Disney Magic at Sea will return from October 2024 to February 2025.
With itineraries spanning from two to seven nights, there’s no telling just how far you’ll go. While you sail, you’ll enjoy the magic of Disney, with Broadway-style entertainment, Disney characters, immersive and imaginative dining, Marvel and Star Wars interactions, and much, much more. Bookings will open for general sale from Tuesday June 27, 2023.
“We were thrilled by the incredible response to our inaugural sailings in Australia and New Zealand and can’t wat to return in October 2024,” said Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager, Disney Cruise Line. “We look forward to bringing the magic of Disney to this beautiful part of the world as we welcome both returning guests and those who are new to our special brand of family cruising.”
Disney Magic At Sea
The Disney Magic at Sea sailings will bring all the fun and excitement of Disney into one fantastic holiday experience. On board the Disney Wonder ship, you’ll discover heaps of restaurants, pools and recreation spaces across 11 decks.
Create memories with your loved ones as you meet beloved characters from Disney and Pixar. After that, feel the Force with Chewbacca and other popular Star Wars characters. Then, meet some of Marvel’s mightiest heroes, including Spider-Man, Captain Marvel and Thor.
If Meet-and-Greets aren’t your style, there’s plenty of dining experiences that will amaze your senses. Exclusive to the Disney Wonder ship, you’ll find Tiana’s Place. Meet Princess Tiana, enjoy live music and enjoy a taste of New Orleans-inspired cuisine.
Then, feel blown away by Animator’s Palate, an interactive dining experience that celebrates Disney animation. As you dine, the restaurant’s surroundings will awaken with colour and characters.
At Triton’s, you’ll feast on continental cuisine with French flair, in an elegant dining room inspired by The Little Mermaid.
There will be heaps of play spaces to keep children happy and occupied. In Disney’s Oceaneer Club, their imaginations will thrive in exciting worlds fuelled by Disney storytelling. MARVEL’s Avengers Academy, for example, will help them find their inner hero.
But, if you think a Disney cruise is only for children, think again. Grown ups will have plenty of their own exclusive spaces to relax and unwind. Swim in the adults-only Quiet Cove pool, feel rejuvenated at the Senses Spa & Salon, and enjoy a sophisticated dining experience at Palo.
The whole family can come together and enjoy some Broadway-style musicals, including Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. Then, have fun with some parties on-deck, including fireworks at sea and a special pirate-themed night.
