Christmas isn’t just about us two-legged humanoids, oh no; our fur friends are as much part of the family as the less hairy beings at a higher altitude, at least in most households these days. Well luckily the pooches of Adelaide are in luck this year, as there’s a Christmas market dedicated to dogs coming to Glenelg this December.
Paws At Partridge is set to be held at Partridge House, just a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning foreshore of Glenelg Beach on Sunday 18 December. Between 10am and 1pm, you’ll be able to browse a variety of market stalls, get in on Q&As, learn the tricks of the trade with a coupla workshops, and help launch a brand new, female-owned business.
As you mosey around the market grounds, have a suss of local stalls including, The Woofery Dog Bakery, Holistic Dog, PetZen, and stands featuring dog accessories from South Australian traders. Oh, and of course being a Sunday morning, your fur baby can get a puppachino from The Salty Bagel.
As well as the stalls, the day will also be host to a series of workshops where you can learn how to trim hair and nails, brush and reduce matts from a groomer who has been in the industry for almost 15 years. Daniella from Holistic Dog will also be answering all of your questions regarding nutrition and will be talking about the importance of balance. While Gaby from PetZen will be chatting all things relaxation.
The Paws At Partridge market comes from the team behind g’oodles, a South Australian and female-led business with a passion for curly-coated dogs. Having recently launched, g’oodle owners Nat and Pri wanted to create a product that helps people maintain their dogs’ high maintenance coats – with all their goodies being Aussie made.
The market is set to launch g’oodles’ detangling shampoo and detangling spray – so you can be one of the first to get your hands on the new doggie stock. Chrissy for pooches ain’t never been better.
