When you can’t choose between gin and doughnuts, go with both, right? Thankfully, Torrens Park café, Yeah Nah Yeah, is making that decision easier than ever for World Gin Day this Saturday, June 11. And they’re doing that by baking up gin-infused doughnuts, of course.
Collaborating with the new South Australian gin distillers, Heaps Good Gin, the café is set to serve up these pretty pink doughnuts on Saturday until sold out.
Now, it’s not the dough that gives these sweet treats a boozy kick. It’s the South Aussie Pink Gin-infused icing, which is made using Native Pink Gin. The gin itself is distilled with local botanicals sourced from Kangaroo Island, Adelaide Hills, Mount Gambier, and the Adelaide Plains.
The pastel pink icing is also garnished with dried orange to pair with the citrus taste of the gin. You can bring your plant-based pals along for a boozy doughnut too, because these bad boys are vegan.
To grab your gin-infused doughnut, simply head into the Yeah Nah Yeah store this Saturday and pick up one (or six). Alternatively, you can pre-order online by sliding into their Instagram DMs.
