Ginny Pig Distillery is known for its delicious South Australian gin. And since its launch, the brand has handcrafted 4 staple gin flavours: Classic Dry, Blueberry, Spiced Fig, alongside Botanic, their latest drop, which also happened to take out two gold medals at the Tasting Australia Spirit Awards and the Australian Distilled Spirit Awards.
The distillery was also awarded the trophy for “Best Micro Batch Distilled Spirit” of 2021. The team at Ginny Pig prides themselves on traditional distilling techniques, small-batch production, as well as high-quality homegrown botanicals.
Now, they’re taking their brand to the next level by opening a cellar door amongst the vines in McLaren Vale on February 25.
Surrounded by the McLaren Vale vineyards, The Ginny Pig Distillery Door gives you the chance to taste the artisan gin varieties, all in one place and paired with some delicious local cheese. You can opt to enjoy your gin tasting in the tasting room or on a supplied picnic blanket on the lawn. (lush greenery views included).
For the grand opening on February 25 from 4 – 7pm, Ginny Pig Distillery will be treating guests to a goodie bag, grazing platter box, and G&T on arrival, which can be enjoyed alongside acoustic live tunes for the duration of the event. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased here.
