Tourism SA is making it easier for South Australians to travel, again.
The Great State Voucher scheme by the South Australian government will be entering its fourth round this Friday 28 June to further entice winter holiday travel in Adelaide as well as across the state.
The Great State Vouchers have been a resounding success and have pumped much-needed funds back into the South Australian tourism economy. The last round saw $50, $100 and $200 vouchers go to participating hosted tours and experiences across South Australia, but round four sees a return to aid accomodation providers. Vouchers, however, will be limited to $50 in regional and suburban areas while Adelaide and North Adelaide benefit from $100 vouchers.
Like the previous round, the Great State Voucher scheme will be allocated by random. To be eligible you will need to sign up between 9am (ACST) Friday 28 May and 5pm Tuesday 1 June. You can do that here.
Successful voucher holders will be notified on Wednesday 2 June and will then be able to claim their vouchers at participating accommodation providers from then up until 31 August.
Of the vouchers, Premier Steven Marshall said, ”As we head into the winter months, this is even more important and that’s why we’re offering more than 50,000 vouchers – made all the more easy to access thanks to a randomised ballot, which we used successfully in round three of the voucher scheme.’
“With a new major annual event, Illuminate Adelaide, coinciding with this travel period and many people already out enjoying a tour or experience with a Great State Experiences Voucher, there’s never been a better time to see South Australia.”
To take advantage of this amazing offer, you will need to go to the Great State Voucher site and sign up this Friday.
