It’s official, Harvest Rock Festival is making a return to Adelaide after the success of the inaugural music affair in 2022.
Come October, the two-day festival will be held across Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 at Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka, and King Rodney Park/Ityamal-itpina in Adelaide’s East End parklands.
If last year’s Harvest Rock was anything to go by, we can expect an international and national line-up of artists gracing the stages, with Crowded House, Jack White, Groove Armada, The Avalanches, Kurt Vile, Hot Chip, Angus & Julia Stone, Goanna, and Marlon Williams belting out hits in 2022, to name a few acts.
Along with the musical performances, Harvest Rock brings a slew of South Australia’s best food offerings, delicious drops, and innovative bars. According to Harvest Rock, “Gourmands, gluttons and gourmets rejoice as Harvest Rock is just as much about the food as it is the music.”
At last year’s festival Harvest Rock promised, “The event also boasts an indulgent feast of gastronomical offerings, including a food space with top tier culinary delights plus an elegant clear marquee where you and your friends can book and enjoy a special seating carefully curated and delivered by renowned chef and restauranteur, Jake Kellie of arkhĂ© (are-kay) and former Head Chef of Burnt Ends (Singapore), a park up of food trucks where you can enjoy the usual festival fare, amongst many other feasting flavours.” So surely we’re in for a treat this October.
And once again, if you’d like to go ‘ham’ and splash out in more ways than one, make sure to invest in the VIP Village, Harvest Lounge, Suites, and the super exclusive Platinum Lounge. Oo la la.
The 2023 Harvest Rock Festival line-up is all set to be announced in June, with ticket sale to follow. But for now, read our review of last year’s festival to get a gauge on whether it’s going to be your thing or not!
