In Adelaide, we’re lucky enough to have a plethora of pizza shops where we can carefully choose which cheeky discs of dough we’d care to consume. And the options for south-siders have just expanded with Hey Bianca officially launching their third pizzeria in Brighton, following the success of their CBD and West Beach stores.
Hey Bianca owners, Jason Cross and Aman Takhar say, “For us, it was a no-brainer to set up a location in the southern area that would cater to patrons, as they deserve. At the new Brighton store we have two brand new ovens which immediately increase our capabilities and cooking times.”
Hey Bianca have been spinning their saucy circles since 2017 and specialise in traditional Napoli and Sicilian-style pizzas. On their menu you’ll find items with the likes of the boscaiola; a pizza with fresh prosciutto, Asiago cheese, truffle paste, mushrooms and basil. Or their infamous pesto pizza, layered with basil pesto, kipfler potatoes, fior de latte and Parmesan. We also counted seven different pizzas across their menu that can be made vegano with their vegan-friendly cheese, and a whopping 11 pizzas that can be made gluten-free.
“Italian food is our love language – it’s simple, authentic and from the heart,” Jason and Aman share.
The new Britghton pizzeria is doing it old-school – where dining inside isn’t an option. However, the striped retro-ish shopfront boasts large French windows, bringing the indoors out – so you can wait al fresco for your order while the wood ovens exude the smells of your imminent feast. It’s a very Covid-friendly setup, complete with gas heaters and fairy lights.
Aman also let us in on a little secret, “we have even more exciting projects to come in 2022 and we can’t wait to share what they are – watch this space,” he says.
Whether you’re picking up your pizza from Hey Bianca or getting it delivered right to your doorstep – we wish you happy snacking!
