The new-age homewares and furniture centre that we all know and love, IKEA are pulling through with the goods and are hosting their IKEA Festival – a global celebration of creativity that will see both in-store and online events going down.
From Friday 26 August until Saturday 10 September, explore shopping events, home makeovers that inspire, and creators re-envisioning IKEA products for everyday living. You’ll be able to “discover simple tips to go from dreaming to doing – make your dream life at home a reality,” so they say!
Although a little lacklustre in comparison to the other Australian cities, five events will be held over the two-week span at Adelaide Airport IKEA. Notably, food tastings, plant workshops, and treasure hunts; there could very well be something worthy of a day out at IKEA.
Here are the in-store events at Adelaide Airport IKEA:
-
Tasting demo – head to IKEA’s Swedish Food Market to see how they recreate the recipe from influencer, Liz Miu and taste the dish.
-
Plant workshop – located in the home decoration department, there will be a free workshop on how to care for your indoor plants and learn about the benefits they have.
-
Food sampling – get to the Market Hall entrance to taste some of IKEA’s Swedish Food Market products.
- Bear adventure hunt – go and find the hidden Fabler Björn bears in this store-wide adventure for kids, with a chance to win a djungelskog – an even bigger and better toy bear.
-
Spin-the-wheel – all IKEA Family Members will have the chance to win a prize by spinning the wheel; including a $100 gift card!
