Dubbed as a pop-up restaurant, the luxurious Lobster & Co. have parked their vintage-style caravan in Rundle Mall and they’re ready to provide you with an unforgettable gourmet lunch or dinner, or both!
Lobster & Co. have been making appearances all over the east coast and finally it’s Adelaide’s turn to put their one-dish menu to the test. After all, South Australia does produce some of the best seafood out there, we should be the judge.
The singular offering on Lobster & Co.’s menu is called the ‘classic roll’, a humble name for the decadent mouthful. This sandwich is loaded with confit Australian lobster tail, and topped with fennel slaw and cumquat – all delicately packed into a soft brioche bun.
The classic roll is meant to be paired with a cup of truffle Parmesan fries and a flute of Pommery Champagne, but if you’re not willing to fork out $80 for the trio, you can get yourself a roll for $50, the fries for $10, or a champers’ for $20. It may not be for the faint-hearted, but it sure is a foodie’s dream.
All of the goodies used in Lobster & Co. rolls are Australian with lobster sourced from Western Australia, while the fruit and vegetables are from South Australia – you just know it’s going to pack a flavourful punch.
Lobster & Co. is open now until Sunday 16 October, and they trade from 11am until 7pm every day of the week underneath the Gawler Place canopy in Rundle Mall, next to H&M.
And on the down-low – as part of the inaugural Adelaide Fashion Week festival, Lobster & Co. is hosting a special collaboration with Camilla. On Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, with every purchase of the lobby roll and Pommery flute, you’ll be treated to an exclusive in-store Camilla voucher to the value of $50 to use at the Burnside Village boutique. The Camilla pop-up will be held in the same location, but with extended trading hours, from 11am until 9pm across the three-day span.
Treat yourself, to say the least!
