All profits from the sales of the funko pop figurine will go towards Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In some much-needed respite from covid-related news, McDonald’s Australia has announced the launch of a limited-edition, glitter-encrusted Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! figurine as part of its ongoing 50th-anniversary celebrations.
The figurine will be available from Wednesday, August 11 at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide.
For those of you who love these highly sought-after collectibles, the cool new item will be available via McDonald’s drive-thru nationwide until stocks last. There is a limit of one Funko Pop! purchase per transaction.
As part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations, the fast-food giant has been on a roll previously releasing a Space Jam 2: A New Legacy Happy Meal collection and also teaming up with Peter Alexander for a Maccas-themed PJ range.
Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia said, “We know Aussies love their Macca’s limited-edition collectibles, so we look forward to introducing the Ronald McDonald Funko Pop! to give customers another way to celebrate and remember our 50th anniversary in Australia.”
The first McDonald’s in Australia was launched in Yagoona, NSW back in 1971. Since then they have opened over 1000 stores across the country. In these 50 years, Mcdonald’s Australia has sold over 1.1 billion Big Macs to Aussie customers. The fast-food chain also serves up to 2 million Aussies around the country daily.
