For some, thrifting sparks mega joy – you just never quite know what kind of treasures are waiting to be unearthed, not to mention the environmental pros of shopping secondhand.
And blessed be, Adelaide’s crowd favourite, women’s preloved and vintage fashion market, Round She Goes is making a comeback on Sunday 28 May.
The Goodwood Community Centre is set to host the indoor thriftery, with over 40 handpicked stallholders slinging goods, from designer fashion and quality vintage to retro fashion and handmade jewellery.
Once the midday snoozies set in, grab yourself a caffeinated beverage and a luscious plant-based sweet treat from Very Vegan’s market stall. Think: a variety of loaded cupcakes, cannoli, cakes, and cookies too.
With beginnings in 2008, Round She Goes aims to make it easy and convenient for women to shop their sustainable values; following the growing interest within communities appreciating where fashion comes from.
With an entry fee of just $3 (that’s with cash or card, by the way), the hidden gems lurking within might just be worth your spare pennies.
Round She Goes women’s preloved and vintage fashion market will go forth at the Goodwood Community Centre on Sunday 28 May between 10am and 3pm – happy browsing!
