This weekend, Glenelg’s Marina Pier will be host to Sip Graze Sea Festival – a celebration of taste sensation for food and wine enthusiasts. On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July from 2pm until 5pm, you’ll be able to roam around the picturesque seaside setting all while spoiling yourself to the cuisine of each one of the restaurants on the Pier at one colossal event.
As you wander across the Pier’s wooden slats, dive deep into wine tastings, hot cheese fondue, mulled wine, pop-up food stalls and gourmet dining experiences, whilst your ears relish the live music and your eyes gaze the roving entertainment as you sip and graze by the sea.
The afternoons of both Saturday and Sunday will showcase: wine tastings from Sunset Bar, gourmet pies and shiraz thanks to The Wharf, gin tasting boards by Seafire on the Marina, a gnocchi station courtesy of Luciano’s on the Marina, fizz and oysters by Oyster Bar, wine flights thanks to Asian Flavour House, mulled wine from Tomiko Japanese Steak House, fish and chips courtesy of Sammy’s on the Marina, fried chicken and chips from Juniper’s on the Marina, Greek cheese tastings by Ellenika, and seafood chowder by virtue of Sammy’s on the Marina.
On any other day, the Marina Pier is a stunning seaside precinct that features fine dining restaurants and function venues, bars with live music, as well as health and beauty spots just 20 minutes from Adelaide City. With spectacular panoramic views of the marina, it’s a wonderful location to spend a splendid day inhaling that fresh ocean air.
JLL Marketing Manager, Alison Mancini shares, “We’re showcasing the best of Marina Pier with a sensory experience that we’re sure will be a real crowd pleaser. The weekend will be a unique flavour experience to enjoy along with live entertainment and the breathtaking views.”
Sip Graze Sea Festival invites you and your pals for a unique flavour experience – and nevermind that we’re in the midst of winter, there will be plenty of heating to warm you up while you snack.
