Listen To This Exclusive Performance Of Disney Songs For The Piano With Cookies And Cocktails

Paint your cookie and eat it too with Paint and Sip to Live Magical Movie Soundtracks by pianist Van-Anh.

Cookies and cocktails combine on Saturday 9 October when Aria-topping and concert pianist Van-Anh performs solo arrangements from her new album The Princess & The Piano. And although we’re thrilled to hear our favourite magical movie soundtracks in this exclusive live listening session, the afternoon is bound to be even more entertaining with cookies made especially for painting.

The virtual piano performance will feature classic Disney songs from some of our favourite magical movies like Aladdin, Moana, Frozen, and Beauty & The Beast. The songs, all of which have been arranged for the piano by Van-Anh, include A Whole New World, Tale As Old As Time and hopefully Reflections from Mulan as well, which you can see her perform below.

While you can tune in to the live piano concert only, the complete Works ticket will see each attendee receive a limited-edition signed copy of The Princess & The Piano as well as a pack containing three Disney cookies complete with edible paint and decorations. These come from Pretty Sugar Co. who have been baking these delicious treats and bringing smiles to faces—young and old alike—all around the country despite lockdowns.

The Works ticket also comes with three ready-made cocktails from the connoisseurs over at Drip. Gin-lovers will fly to Aviation first, while fans of vodka will be all about Passion and then there’s also the Japanese Slipper—a melon and citrus flavoured cocktail made in Melbourne. If you like, you can double the Works ticket and get six ready-made cocktails and six Disney cookies which you can eat all yourself or share with the kids in the house. Or, go sans cookies and go for just the cocktails and concert instead.

Although the live magical movie soundtracks concert takes place on Saturday 9 October, those thinking of ordering the Works or the Concert and Cocktail pack must do so by Thursday 30 September to ensure the delivery arrives on time. Then, you’ll just have to stop yourself (and you’re kid if they’re who the cookies are for) from opening up the package before the Saturday afternoon performance.

Sip, paint and decorate while listening to the supremely talented Van-Anh recreate your favourite magical movie soundtracks for the piano. Get your tickets below and order before Thursday 30 September to receive your cocktails and cookies on time.
