If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, then you’re in luck, because there’s a magical event arriving in Adelaide this winter. Introducing you to Spellbound, a new Harry Potter-inspired market and Wizarding rave that’s popping up at Queens Theatre on June 25. Become mesmerised by the array of market stalls, workshops, and more during this magic-filled day.
While Hermione might not approve, the market stalls at Spellbound will be selling bewitching items such as herbs and crystals, alongside artwork, jewellery, and limited-edition Harry Potter candles. You can expect to see stores such as Floyd & Frankie, Little Glow Candle Co, Hey Elsie, Jasper & Co, Our Euphoria, Frankly Gin, Spice Chariot, Aura Beads & Gem Stones, just to name a few.
As for the workshops, it looks like the Pottery and Potions Class is the most popular so far, with only a few tickets left. In this lesson, you’ll get to make a magical creation using your imagination, whether it be a goblet, mug, or bookends.
If you’re looking for something a bit boozier, however, why not jump on a Potions Class run by Hilly Tilley Distillery and Frankly Gin? And by potions, we mean spellbinding cocktails made in your cauldron.
For the most part, Spellbound is an all-ages, wheelchair-accessible event that begins at 10.30am. However, the Wizard World Rave is for 18+ witches and wizards only. So if you’ve dreamed of attending the Yule Ball for years now, this is your chance.
You can nab tickets to the event here. Entry to the market is only $3 if you purchase online, whereas the workshops and rave cost a tad more.
