The summer season is brimming with iconic artists making their way down under – with Fridayz Live bringing Akon, Ashanti, Macklemore, TLC and heaps more exciting performers to our state, and now, multi-platinum Grammy-nominated artist, TYGA has announced he’s en route too with his It’s Too Loud I Can’t Hear You tour.
The It’s Too Loud I Can’t Hear You tour is kicking off at Perth’s iconic RAC Arena, and the six-day run will then see TYGA hit up Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, John Cain Arena in Melbourne, and is finishing up with a bang at QUDOS Bank Arena in Sydney.
The upcoming 2022 tour marks the American rapper’s first return trip to Australia since selling out venues across the country in 2019 on his headline tour. And this time around, the set is said to promise an unattainable coolness, energy and hype – along with local artists Hooligan Hefs and Youngn Lipz helping that coolness be attained.
TYGA has a pretty impressive portfolio of collaborative works with the likes of Pop Smoke, Megan Thee Stallion and A$AP Ferg, to Nicki Minaj, Australia’s very own Iggy Azalea, and most recently Doja Cat.
And if you cast your mind back to December of 2011, you may even get that nostalgic feeling when you hear the words ‘rack city, rack rack rack city’, from TYGA’s quadruple-platinum single Rack City, which took the radio stations by storm, as well as the youth of the time – it was a movement, you had to be there.
