The local gin market has been going off in South Australia recently, especially with the newly opened Ginny Pig Distillery cellar door in McLaren Vale. Whether you’re new to drinking gin, or you’re a flat-out enthusiast, Gin Festival will help you find your perfect tipple.
Coming to Adelaide Convention Centre from Friday June 17 – Sunday June 19, this gin extravaganza will showcase over 50 Aussie craft distillers, with over 400 gins you can potentially choose from. Distillers that you meet on the day include Barossa Distilling Company, Ginny Pig, Wolf Lane Distillery, Never Never, Australian Distilling Co, and plenty more.
You’ll be spoilt for choice during your 3.5-hour tasting session, which includes your choices of gin and tonic, crystal classes, and coffee in case you need a little pick-me-up. There will also be bottles available if you end up finding a new favourite gin and want to take some home.
Tickets are selling fast for Gin Festival, with several sessions already sold out. So you’ll want to grab one as soon as possible if you’d like to attend.
Entry is $68 per person and can be purchased via the Gin Events website.
You can find Adelaide Convention Centre at North Terrace.
