Grammy award-winning singer and rapper Lizzo as well as Flume, Lewis Capaldi and Mumford & Sons have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Splendour in the Grass. This will mark Lizzo’s first Australian performance since 2020.
Last month, the festival organisers revealed that Lizzo would be headlining, saying, “Announcing our lineup all at once is so 2020!” and that the full lineup would follow in a few weeks’ time. Now, it’s finally here.

The hugely popular music and arts festival will return to North Byron Parklands from July 21 to July 24, where it has been held since 2013.
Joining the headliners on the lineup this year is a slew of Australian and international musicians such as Hilltop Hoods, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sam Fender, PNAU, Tove Lo, Peach PRC, Cub Sport, Meg Mac, Ball Park Music, and plenty more.
The festival returned last year after two years of pandemic cancellations but the event was derailed massively due to heavy rainfall and onsite flooding. The campsite was closed for the first day of the festival with thousands of festival goers stranded in the rain. Despite that it drew a crowd of over 40,000 people.
Festival organisers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco issued a new statement last year apologising for the conditions at last year’s festival.
“While we can’t control the weather, we can manage how we respond and for that, we are deeply sorry,” they said.
