You asked and UNIQLO has listened. The Japanese clothing giant is opening up their first South Australian store this year. This will be a relief for current UNIQLO shoppers who’ve been buying their clothes online and have been hoping, just hoping that they fit good when delivered.
Adelaide’s UNIQLO store will be setting up shop in the South Entrance of the Myer Centre, which will not only finally bring their high-quality clothes to one of our favourite shopping spots, but will also carve out around 80 employment opportunities for Adelaide residents. This will significantly contribute to the local economy, which we love to see.
The new store will be the 26th to pop up in Australia, making South Australia the fifth state to have a physical store for the world-famous clothing brand. UNIQLO sells simple everyday clothing that prides itself on longevity. The Adelaide store is set to open sometime in late 2022, offering apparel for women, men, kids, with plenty of seasonal clothing drops to look forward to. The store will reportedly be pretty big too, spanning 1,000 square metres of floor space.
