Kilsby Sinkhole is located beneath a rural farming property that’s been owned by the Kilsby family for four generations. You’ll need to book online prior to your visit and for guided tours. Snorkelling tours are priced at $99 per person, whereas Sinkhole tours cost $15 per person. Scuba diving and free diving at the sinkhole must be arranged with one of the approved diving operators.
The sinkhole itself is also home to Sinkhole Gin, a delicious local small-batch drop made from pure limestone-filtered water direct from the aquifer supplying Kilsby Sinkhole. The floral, aromatic gin gets its taste from native botanicals such as emu apple, honey, lemon myrtle, lime zest, strawberry gum, and of course juniper. There’s two gin varieties to choose from: a Sinkhole Contemporary Australian Gin priced at $79.99 a bottle and Sinkhole Limoncello Gin priced at $64.99 a bottle. Gin tastings at the sinkhole will be coming soon.
